Thomas Hayward (Liberty Ship) Intermediate
The Libertyship Thomas Hayward
( 95' Wreck Designed to serve as an emergency cargo ship for the U.S. Maritime Commission, the 360 foot Liberty Ship, Thomas Hayward, was built by the Alabama Dry-dock Company in 1942. On May 5, 1946, the ship hit a floating mine off Europe. Despite the damage, the Hayward made it back to port for repairs. She was laid up in the Mobile Reserve Fleet in 1949. In 1977, she was purchased by the Florida Department of Natural Resources and sunk seven miles southwest of East Pass near White Hill Reef. The wreck now rests in 90 feet of water rising 25 feet off the bottom. This site has become one of the most popular wreck dives in the Destin area. Divers often see large Southern Stingrays, amberjack, grouper and flounder.)    Lat:  N 30° 18.266'   Lon: W 086° 36.237'

M-60 Army Tanks Beginner - Intermediate 14 M-60 Army Tanks, put down in December 1994, the depths range between 65 - 70 feet Lat N 30 21.775 Lon W 86 35.359
White Hill Reef Beginner - Intermediate Natural lime stone reef, home to a wide variety of marine life. Sharks, Rays, Octopus, Frog Fish, Flounder, Crabs, plus many others call this home. There are also coral and sponge formations. Visibility can be as good as 100 feet and as bad as near zero after a storm. Depth is 85 feet with a 4-5 foot profile. Near the location of Thomas Hayward, approx 1/2 - 1 mile West / North-West
Destin Bridge Rubble - Main Stack Beginner This is one of 3 locations where sections of the old Destin bridge were dumped to form an artificial reef. This site can have barracuda, flounder, snapper, pin fish, grouper, sand dollars, Sea Urchins (lots of them), Goliath Grouper as well as green sea turtles and the well camouflaged frog fish.  Visibility can be as good as 100 feet and as bad as near zero after a storm. Depth is 70 feet with a 10-15 foot profile. Lat:  N 30° 20.810'   Lon: W 086° 29.637'
